Frequently Asked Questions
Is that you saying, “But Erin...Mantras? Meditation?
That’s only for the woo.”
Oh goodness...I hear you, loud and clear. It was that exact thought that had me questioning my own confidence in putting the programs in The Movement out in the world more than 10 years ago. Thousands of students later -- with dream jobs landed, relationships saved, bodies transformed, babies born, and a whole lotta self-love in between -- I can guarantee this is unlike any workout program you’ve tried before. And because of that? You’ll get results you can’t even imagine.
Still have questions? Consider me an open book...
What do I get with my free trial of The Movement?
Your free, 7-day trial gives you unlimited access to the library of workouts, Soul Strolls, meditations, recipes, and more within the membership. And when you stick around? It gives you exclusive access to all new content as we release it each and every month. We don’t hold back, so you don’t have to!
What happens after I join?
First: We pop the bubbly here at Erin Stutland HQ, say a toast (that probably rhymes) to you, and clink our virtual glasses. Then, we’ll shoot you an email with your unique credentials so you can login and get started immediately.
How often will new workouts and content be released?
Banish boredom in your workouts! New content will be added each and every month, both based on what I’m feeling inspired by AND what you’re requesting. In July alone, we added a new Booty Workout, Meditation for Creativity, Soul Stroll: I Show Up, Bedtime Stretch, and four recipes in Erin’s Lazy Kitchen! In August, members can look forward to a Barre Fusion workout, another new Soul Stroll, another new meditation and a few surprises!
How do I access the amazing library of workouts, meditations, and more inside The Movement?
Access is simple: You can log in to The Movement from your phone, your tablet, your computer, or your TV. The Movement is available on all Apple, Android, and Kindle Fire devices, as well as Roku. Streaming from your laptop? You’re good to go with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge.
Even better: Once you’ve signed up through our site, you can download the app and have The Movement at your fingertips immediately.
Do I need an internet connection to use The Movement?
You won’t be out of shape if you’re off the grid. (See what we did there?) Simply download content to your device within the app, and access it whether you’re in your backyard or the backwoods.
I forgot my password -- how do I reset it?
To reset your password, please click the "Forgot password?" link here. You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password that’s valid for 6 hours.
What do I need to do the workouts + meditations inside The Movement?
Forget the fancy workout gear (though we’re never opposed to a new pair of yoga pants!). All you need are clothes that are comfy to move in, a yoga mat if you need a softer space to land on, and your favorite device to stream or play from. (We occasionally use weights, but feel free to get creative!)
When’s the best time to join The Movement?
You know how the saying goes: The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today. That applies here, too. :)
I’m someone who gets really excited about something, but then loses steam after a few weeks (okay, sometimes a few days)...How will this be different?
We’d venture to say The Movement is unlike any wellness experience you’ve taken part in before. Easy access? Check. Accountability? Check. Consistent content releases that banish boredom? Check. A holistic focus on your mind, body, and soul? Check. Incredible results that keep you coming back for more? Check. Of course, there’s a caveat: We’re doing our part to make whole-body wellness simple for you. But as the beautiful Maya Angelou said, “Nothing will work unless you do.”
What if something comes up and I need to cancel my membership?
With the monthly subscription option, you can cancel at anytime. Upon cancellation, you’ll continue to have access to content until the last day in you current billing period. After that, you will not be billed.
With the annual subscription option, you will be responsible for the full payment for a year of access. Unfortunately, we cannot issue prorated refunds. If you do not want to proceed with the annual subscription after the first year, please be sure to cancel before your next billing date.
To cancel on desktop: Log in, then head to My Account. Next, select Manage Subscription. You can then click on Cancel Subscription. Canceling from the app? You’ll need to cancel your subscription directly through your app store and can only do this if you originally signed up via the app.
Do I have to say the mantras out loud?
It takes a lot of courage to jump around a room by yourself saying mantras out loud. I know it can feel a little silly. But each time you do it, you’ll get a little more comfortable -- and you may unintentionally empower others around you, as well! #happysideeffects
I travel a lot. Can I take you with me?
Good news: I love to travel. More relevant for you: The Movement can go with you from your basement to overseas. You can stream from your favorite device -- or download content to the app to save the data and ditch the reliance on strong WiFi.
I’m pregnant/breastfeeding/a new mom -- is this safe?
The short answer: Always consult your doctor first.
The long answer: In general, if you were exercising before you were pregnant, you can continue doing the same thing while pregnant, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. (Though you may feel a strong desire to slow down as your pregnancy progresses.)
After baby, every woman's body is so incredibly different depending on the kind of birth you experienced. Again, please consult your doctor to see what kind of programs are best for you. We will be adding pre- and post-natal workouts soon.
What if I’m afraid of how good my life really can be?
Alright, alright -- very few people ask me this question, but honestly? It’s a real fear for so many, and if you’re feeling it, you’re not alone. Being comfortable in the status quo -- even if it’s not your ideal -- is entirely normal. Until you see what’s on the other side, you won’t know just how good it can be.
What if I’m still on the fence?
Ask yourself this single question: Do you want to stay where you are right now?
I have a question that’s not answered here...
I’d bet my next green smoothie that we have an answer. Shoot my team and I an email anytime at support@erinstutland.com.
